Jewelry Making / English
The ArtCenter/South Florida was established in 1984 and is considered a major cultural institution to advance the knowledge and practice of contemporary visual arts and culture in South Florida. Students at Rennert SoBe can take advantage of a unique program in the exciting field of jewelry making.
If you've ever marveled at the beautiful, unique jewelry you see on models or always wanted to design your own jewelry, this course is for you. This course is open to all levels of experience and will teach you the basic techniques of jewelry making such as metal forming, texturing, soldering, stone setting and finishing. Highly skilled instructors will assign a project and help you see it through its completion. Jewelry techniques classes meet on Wednesday evenings for three hours for six weeks.
At Rennert SoBe, students attend English classes for 16, 20 or 30 hours per week where they will improve listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Explore your creative talents with this unique program.
