American Business in Action
Vacation 'N Volunteer (Non-Visa Program)
For students who want to combine a practical learning experience with their vacation in New York, this additional program in American Business in Action offers flexibility, language practice and professional exposure.
Students will take 4 weeks of Vacation ‘N Learn where they will improve their English language skills sixteen hours per week, either in the morning or the afternoon. After the initial 4 weeks of classes, students join local sponsor companies for 4 or 8 weeks where they get exposure to projects related to Advertising, Architecture, Graphic Design, Fashion, Finance, Music, Publishing and Real Estate. They collaborate with staff members on research, communication projects, administrative tasks and listen in on meetings – in English, of course!
Like its partner program, Practical English in the Working World, Vacation ’N Volunteer offers students a great experience in the capital city of business and cultural affairs!
