St. Thomas University Dormitory Accommodations

Approximately 372 students live on campus in the residence halls. Donnellon Hall for male and Cascia Hall for female residents (built in 1966) are traditional style corridor residence halls with community bathroom facilities and are occupied by mostly undergraduate students. Each room measures approximately 12' x 16' and is furnished with a single bed, clothing armoire, dresser, desk and chair for each resident. Basic cable service with approximately 40 channels and local telephone service hook-up as well as free high speed internet access are provided. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Villanova Hall, the newest residence, opened in January 2007. This four-story residence includes accommodations consisting of two bedroom suites (two students per bedroom) a sitting room, one full bathroom and 1/2 bathroom en suite. Suites are furnished with bed, desk, chair and dresser for each student. The living area has a loveseat, two chairs, end tables, armoire, pub table and four chairs, small refrigerator and microwave. Single rooms have a bed, easy chair and table, desk and chair, dresser, and night stand. Central Air conditioning, cable and phone service is also available in each room or suite. Local telephone calls are free of charge. However, you will need a phone card to make long distance and international calls.

Students may reside on campus during the Easter and Thanksgiving holidays. Dormitories are closed during the Christmas holiday from December 12, 2009 through January 3, 2010 for winter vacation. During this period we will assist you in making alternate accommodation arrangements.

A meal plan is included (breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and brunch and dinner Saturday, Sunday and holidays -- except May 9- August 16, 2009 when brunch and dinner are served daily).

Meals are served in the cafeteria, buffet style.
