Advanced Conversation Elective
5 students max / 8 hours per week
1-on-1 as an add-on to Professional English Program private or group lessons
This informal class meets afternoons only for 2 hours, Monday to Thursday.
Practice what you have learned while you engage in social conversations
about current events, art, literature, film, culture and politics. Make friends
and improve your English in this fun elective class.
Writing for Business Elective
5 students max / 8 hours per week
Get your message across by improving your correspondence. Learn how to
write professional, effective e-mails, letters and memos like a native speaker.
Telephone Follow-up Course
(30 minutes per week / 3 months)
Continue to perfect your English after you go home by telephone
communication with your favorite teacher. Once a week, at a
pre-determined time, you'll spend 30 minutes speaking in English.
Maintain your fluency and stay in touch with this fun and convenient
add-on course. Calls must be made to a fixed land line.
E-mail Follow-up course
(3 e-mails per week / 3 months)
Continue to perfect your English by e-mail with your favorite teacher
after you go home. Exchange three e-mails per week for a period of three
months. Sharpen your written skills and stay in touch with this fun and
convenient add-on course.
International Networking Meetings
Two to four hours per week / Two meetings or lunches
This exclusive option enables students to meet with a New York counterpart in a restaurant for natural conversation about professional topics. Participants will be introduced to New York counterparts who share their professional background or interests. It is an opportunity to connect with people within their fields in a comfortable and natural setting and allows for an open exchange of ideas between American business practices and their home country's practices in a hands-on manner.
