Job Search
While the SIT TESOL Certificate Course does not provide formal job assistance to participants, Rennert (New York City) regularly hires outstanding graduates as teachers after they receive their certificates. Rennert's staff will also be happy to pass on any job leads and advice to participants who successfully complete the program. SIT also maintains a listserv that connects graduates of all SIT courses to facilitate networking.
In addition, there are ample resources on the web to help you find an ESL teaching job.
